Fishing Clinic at Maplewood Middle School in Menasha, WI

MMS
This past Thursday I held my third Family Fishing Clinic of 2012 at Maplewood Middle School in Menasha, Wisconsin.  What a great turnout.  The event was kicked-off with pizza and pop.  Next the ‘Fishing Basics’ seminar was held where we taught the families about safety on the water, open and closed spinning combos, knots, bait, casting, fish identification, parts of a fish, Aquatic Invasive Species and more…  After the seminar the youths had an opportunity to do hands on with everything they learned from the seminar.  I would like to thank the volunteers Jessica Kidd, Tim Euting, Craig Huss, Diane and Ron Guerts, Northeast Sportsman Group and Todd Vanderboom for all their help at the event.   Besides are great sponsors we would like to thank the City Of Menasha School District, Heckrodt Nature Preserve and Wisconsin DNR.
