Today, Tuesday May 28th was the final day for the South Park Middle School Fish Camp, where Captain Greg of Learn 2 Fish With Us hosted fishing at Menominee Park. Fish Camp meet monthly where they learned about the skills and equipment needed to begin fishing. The previous months session, students were given a fishing combo along with items needed to rig thier fishing and they rigged them. Today was the day hstudents used thier newly rigged fishing combo!! The afternoon started out slow but picked up, where many fish were caught. Learn 2 Fish With Us had a soft-sided tackle bag to the student that caught the largest fish. Jacob was leading with a 14.5 inch Largemouth Bass, but at the end of the afternoon, Mason caught a 15.25 inch Largemouth Bass to win the tackle bag. Other’s that caught fish were Braden withh a 12.5 inch bullhed, Cedric with a 9.5 inch Rockbass, Awok with a 7.5 inch Bluegill, Carson with a 6.5 inch perch, along with Archer, Cash, Jacob. Ava all catching fish!! It was a great fishing day!!
