Volunteer with a Friend Official Contest Rules

Who Can Enter

  1. To be eligible to participate in this contest, entrants must be U.S. residents.

How to Enter

  1. Enter online via Facebook and SignUpGenius.
  2. No purchase is necessary to enter. You can sign up for as many events as you like, but only one prize package will be received.
  3. To enter, visit our Facebook page and tag a friend in the comments of our giveaway post.
    1. After commenting, go to the L2F SignUpGenius page and sign up for an event (don’t forget to have your friend sign up too!).
    2. You and your friend must BOTH sign up AND volunteer at an event before receiving the prize.
  4. The contest starts on April 1 at 12:00 a.m. (CST) and you must sign up for an event no later than 11:59 p.m. (CST) on April 30. (Note: you can sign up for events that occur anytime during the L2F season, not just April, but you must sign up and comment on the Facebook post by April 30 to be eligible for a prize.) Learn 2 Fish With Us is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries, printing errors, server unavailability, computer, or any other electronic malfunction.

The Prize(s)

  1. Winners will receive free fishing swag.
  2. Each winner will be notified by Facebook private message. Before claiming the prize, the winner must provide his/her correct name, address and telephone number to Learn 2 Fish With Us at the time of notification.
  3. There will be no substitutions or cash alternatives for any prize except at the sole discretion of Learn 2 Fish With Us. Learn 2 Fish With Us the right to substitute a prize of similar value. No transfer or assignment of prizes is allowed.
  4. Learn 2 Fish With Us is not liable if the provider of any part of the prize fails to satisfy its obligations to furnish its portion of the prize.
  5. Learn 2 Fish With Us is not responsible for any liability arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of the prize.

  1. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Learn 2 Fish With Us, Facebook and SignUpGenius accept no responsibility or liability in connection with any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession or use of any prize awarded hereunder.
  2. Learn 2 Fish With Us cannot be held liable for any lost or stolen entries, prizes, or contest information. Learn 2 Fish With Us is not responsible for any computer or electronic malfunction, server unavailability, technological glitch, or human error relating to this contest and/or the use of short-code.
  3. Learn 2 Fish With Us reserves the right to make rules and contest changes, and change the aforementioned contest dates.
  4. By entering this contest, each entrant waives any and all claims of liability against Learn 2 Fish With Us, Facebook.com, SignUpGenius and their respective parents, affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents, for any and all claims, loss, damage or injury which may occur as a result of entrant’s participation in this contest.
