Today, Learn 2 Fish With Us partnered once again with the Freedom High School Fishing Team to teach the third graders of Freedom Elementary the skills and equipment needed to begin fishing.
This marks the second year working together with Freedom Elementary and the Freedom High School Fishing Team to introduce youth to the great sport of fishing. The high school anglers did an outstanding job helping demonstrate techniques and working directly with the students.
The students were incredibly energetic and eager to participate. Many volunteered to come up in front of the class to practice the skills we were teaching, making the program both fun and interactive for everyone involved.
Thanks to our great sponsors, each youth received a Learn 2 Fish With Us fishing shirt and a fishing education book so they can continue learning and get out on the water.
It’s always exciting to see young anglers develop an interest in fishing, and we look forward to continuing this great partnership in the future!
