Learn 2 Fish With Us and Head2Head Fishing Pro Walleye Series hosted two youth fishing clinics during their Championship, which was held on Chautauqua Lake in Jamestown, New York.  The youth attending the fishing clinics seemed just as excited as the angler that would win the fifty-thousand-dollar top prize. 

Head2Head Fishing Pro Walleye Series anglers and officials along with Captain Greg of Learn 2 Fish With Us, educated youth on the equipment and skills needed to begin fishing.  Each evening started out with a Fishing Basics seminar, which taught future anglers; safety while fishing, spin cast and spinning fishing combos, casting, different fishing presentations, knots, fish identification, live and artificial bait and aquatic invasive species.  After the seminar, Head2Head Fishing Pro Walleye Series anglers and officials, worked with families on hands activities such as tying a Clinch and Palomar knot and casting.  Fun was had by all as you can see all the smiles in the pictures. 

After the Fishing Clinic, Connor a youth attending the fishing clinic presented Captain Greg with a fly that he made!!  Captain Greg, so looks forward to fishing with it and plans on sharing pictures of fish that he catches with the fly!!  How cool is this!! 

Each youth attending the fishing clinics received a fishing combo, NPAA Future Pro Shirt, My Fishing Journal and Tru-Turn hooks, thanks to the National Professional Anglers Association, Future Angler Foundation and Learn 2 Fish With Us.

Learn 2 Fish With Us and our volunteers educated youth on the vital skills needed to begin fishing during The Big Event which was held Saturday, October 2^nd at Heritage Hills State Park in Green Bay, Wisconsin.   Captain Greg Karch and his crew taught youth how to be safe while fishing, how to cast safely and accurately, and how to tie a Palomar knot.  All skills that our so vital when fishing as a family.   When a youth would catch a Backyard Bass you could just see their glowing smile and excitement!!

Thanks to Off Shore Tackle Company, National Professional Anglers Association and Future Angler Foundation youth received frisbees and Future Pro shirts!!  They were all excited!!

The Big Event is a Fundraiser for Encompass a non-profit early education care center for children and promotes a healthy body and healthy mind.  Learn 2 Fish With Us so believes fishing does this for all ages!!

Captain Greg has been on a great perch bite along with his wife Karen.  During this perch trip he recorded footage that he will use in his soon to be released ‘Catching Dandy Perch’!!  Watch for this video!!

Captain Greg meet with CEO’s and Board Members of Wisconsin Boys & Girls Club at their conference which was held at Wisconsin Dells on Tuesday, September 14th.  Captain Greg reviewed who Learn 2 Fish With Us is, what we can do, who we worked with along with the different fishing clinics we can provide.  Captain Greg also reviewed the fishing clinics that were held in Milwaukee and Oshkosh for the Boys & Girls Club.  

Captain Greg also meet with the Illinois Boys & Girls Club through a monthly Zoom Meeting where reviewed Learn 2 Fish With Us.

Learn 2 Fish With Us so looks forward to partnering with the Boys & Girls Club in 2022 to host fishing clinics in Wisconsin and Illinois.
