On Tuesday June 5th and Wednesday June 6th, Learn 2 Fish With Us Captain Greg and their volunteers educated youth on the skills and equipment needed to fish. This was held on the mooring piers at Menominee Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The group consisted of fourth and fifth graders in the Oshkosh School District. The big group was split into four groups that had forty youth in each, and would rotate through four stations of which fishing was one of them. After instruction the youth had about forty-five minutes to fish. Many fish were caught which included perch, crappie, bluegill and bullheads. Thanks to the National Professional Anglers Association each youth went home with a Future Pro Shirt. Thanks to The Reel Shot for providing bait. These youth will also have the opportunity to fish at the Secret Fishing Spot on June 19th.
