Captain Greg has been on a great perch bite along with his wife Karen.  During this perch trip he recorded footage that he will use in his soon to be released ‘Catching Dandy Perch’!!  Watch for this video!!

Captain Greg meet with CEO’s and Board Members of Wisconsin Boys & Girls Club at their conference which was held at Wisconsin Dells on Tuesday, September 14th.  Captain Greg reviewed who Learn 2 Fish With Us is, what we can do, who we worked with along with the different fishing clinics we can provide.  Captain Greg also reviewed the fishing clinics that were held in Milwaukee and Oshkosh for the Boys & Girls Club.  

Captain Greg also meet with the Illinois Boys & Girls Club through a monthly Zoom Meeting where reviewed Learn 2 Fish With Us.

Learn 2 Fish With Us so looks forward to partnering with the Boys & Girls Club in 2022 to host fishing clinics in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Congratulations Learn 2 Fish With Us youth Audrey and Martin for making the September/October issue of the Badger Sportsman Magazine. Both of you caught some monster bass during our fishing clinics. Great memories!!

It was Labor Day weekend and Learn 2 Fish With Us and NPAA Members Captain Greg Karch #138 and Karen Karch #121 hosted a fishing clinic at Conroy’s Bear Lake Resort And Campground, which is located in Manawa, Wisconsin.  The fishing clinic was held on Sunday September 5^th. 

The fishing clinic was held right next to Bear Lake and were the youth, families and adults excited for Captain Greg to present his Fishing Basics seminar.  Attendees learned about all the equipment and skills needed to begin fishing, which included; Safety while fishing, spin cast and spinning fishing combos, how to cast safely and accurately, how to tie a Palomar and Clinch knot, simple fishing presentations, fish identification, live and artificial bait, aquatic invasive species, keeping our water clean and keeping a fishing journal.   After the Fishing Basics seminar, many of the attendees had questions for Captain Karch on fishing in general and fishing Bear Lake.

Each youth attending the fishing clinic received a Future Pro shirt and a mini tackle box with a bobber, sinkers, plastics, Northland jigs and Tru-Turn hooks along with a fishing journal thanks to Learn 2 Fish With Us, National Professional Anglers Association and Future Angler Foundation.
