Learn 2 Fish With Us Angler Educator Leads With Clean.Drain.Dry.
Here’s a press release from Wildlife Foreever on our Angler Educator Greg Karch
Fishing Pro Leads with Clean.Drain.Dry.
Brooklyn Center, MN – Professional angler and founder of Learn 2 Fish With Us, Greg Karch, incorporates Clean.Drain.Dry. into his fishing career and youth events across the Midwest. The Wisconsin based angler is committed to stopping invasive species and recently branded his tow vehicle and tournament shirt with the Clean.Drain.Dry. message.
“Fishing is my life, if I can help protect it by reinforcing the simple message, it’s the least I can do to ensure

a resource I depend on. My truck has a cool new wrap this year which I hope will catch some eyes’. I’m proud to support Clean.Drain.Dry”, said Karch.
Greg is also a member of the National Professional Angler Association who has worked for years to help educate anglers on how to prevent invasive species. Providing tools and consistent best management practices used across the country and Canada, allows partnerships to work in unison with local, state and federal outreach efforts.
“I grew up watching the legends of fishing like Roland Martin, Al Linder and Babe Winkelman. Catch and Release was one of the first conservation initiatives they preached and through public and industry support, we ultimately saved America’s great fisheries. Clean.Drain.Dry. works to instill that same ethic to change behavior and halt the spread of invasive species” said Pat Conzemius, Conservation Director.
Professional anglers are ambassadors to fishing and help foster resource stewardship to both young and old. Armed with the three simple steps on how to prevent invasive species will help slow the spread and help when new invaders arrive. Learn more at www.Learn2FishWithUs.com

Oshkosh Cub Scouts Learn About Fishing
On Sunday August 2nd, Cub Scouts in Oshkosh performed the needed activities to obtain the fishing belt loop. Greg, from Learn 2 Fish With Us educated the cub scouts on fishing though his Fish Basics seminar, which educates attendee’s on all the skills needed to fish. After the seminar it was time for the cub scouts to go fishing. Fishing was tough due to the twenty to thirty mile an hour winds the scouts had to deal with, but a fish was caught. After fishing the youth then practiced casting as Greg brought his Backyard Bass. So scouts were able to catch a Backyard Bass when they had a good cast. Each youth went home with a signed NPAA Future Pro shirt.

Learn 2 Fish With Us Educates Families On Fishing At Peninsula State Park
What an awesome day it was at Peninsula State Park located in Door County, Wisconsin!!! It was sunny, in the eighties and did I say the fish were biting!! The day started at 10:45 AM when Fishing Pro Greg Karch presented his Fishing Basics seminar. The families were so excited to learn all the skills need to start fishing. The kids were eager to volunteer to learn the new skills as when Greg would ask for volunteers the hands were quickly raised.
Once the seminar was over the kids practiced casting. Backyard Bass were being used so a youth would know when they had a good cast as they would catch a Backyard Bass. Once every youth practiced casting for a couple times is was time to go fishing. They all walked down to the fishing pier where Learn 2 Fish With Us had fishing equipment for the families to use along with bait from The Reel Shot. Almost every youth caught a fish thanks to the gobies that were hanging around the shallows. It was amazing as many of the families wanted to continue to fish but it was time to head back for the door prizes!!!
All the youth received a door prize and they were excited. From Plano’s Kevin Van Dam tackle boxes to Shakespeare’s fishing combo and NPAA’s Future Pro shirts the youth were excited about their prizes. The youth that choose the Future Pro shirts had Greg sign them.
What a great day to teach families about fishing!!!!
