New videos to come will be shallow water trolling and pulling flies.  These video’s should be posted by the end of December.  I will also work on doing some more education videos on ice fishing!!!!!

Greg Karch will be presenting his Fishing Basics seminar at the following sport shows:  Chicago Musky Show, Milwaukee Musky Show and the Madison Fishing Expo.  At the two Musky shows Greg will present Fishing basics at 10 AM on Sunday and multiple times each day at the Madison Fishing Expo.

Greg Karch Angler Educator for Learn 2 Fish With Us educated youth and families on fishing at Moose Fest.  Moose Fest was held at Riverside Park in Neenah, Wisconsin this past weekend.  Greg presented his ‘Fishing Basics’ seminar at 11 AM and 2 PM on the stage.  Families learned everything needed to go fishing and each youth recieved a fishing combo thanks to Learn 2 Fish With Us sponsors.  All the youth also shouted the words ‘Clean Drain Dry’ and Greg reviewed what each meant and why he follows the rules!!!  Pictures to come soon.

This past Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Learn 2 Fish With Us was edcuating youth and families on casting at Lake Shakespeare during Farm Technology Days.  Angler Educator Greg Karch also hosted his Fishing Basics seminar each day on the Youth Main Stage where he reviewed all the skills and equipment for fishing along with the AIS message of ‘Clean, Drain and Dry’.  The highlight of the Learn 2 Fish With Us booth was Lake Shakespeare where the kids practiced casting and if they had a good cast, they could catch a Backyard Bass.  Many kids said they caught thier first fish!!!  Thanks to Greg’s and Learn 2 Fish With Us sponsors many great prizes were handed out such as hats, shirts, coolers, line cutters, water bottles and more.  A BIG THANKS to all the 4H volunteers that helped in the Learn 2 Fish With Us booth.  All the equipment used in the booth was then donated to the local FFA group.

Sunday, July 20^th was a great day to have a fishing clinic prior to the Bago Walleye Club walleye tournament weigh in. Prior to the was in Learn 2 Fish With Us Angler Educator Greg Karch presented his Fishing Basics seminar to the families in attendance. After the Fishing Clinic the kids learned that they would receive a fishing combo that was donated by the Bago Walleye Club, NPAA and Learn 2 Fish With Us. After the clinic all the Pro’s started coming in with their catches. Twenty pounds won the BWC tournament!!

This past Saturday Learn 2 Fish With Us held a Family Fishing Clinic at Devils Lake State Park in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The morning started out with Angler Educator Greg Karch presenting his Fishing Basics seminar which reviews; saftey, open and close spinning combo’s, casting, knots, bait, fishing presentations, fish identification and conversation. Greg also reviewed the AIS message of ‘Clean, Drain and Dry’ meant and what he does when he goes fishing. Thanks to Shakespeare, NPAA and Learn 2 Fish With Us each youth went home with a fishing combo and Future Pro shirt. After the seminar the families then rigged up their newly acquired fishing combos with a bobber, sinker and Tru Turn hook. We then went fishing were some bluegills and bass were caught. A big thanks to The Reel Shot for donate the bait for fishing!!!.

On July 12^th, Learn To Fish With Us had Angler Educator Greg Karch working with the youth on casting. Many kids caught their first fish, which was a Backyard Bass. This event was held at Appleton’s Mill’s Fleet Farm and there were many fishing educational stations such as knots, bait, AIS message, fishing poles, fishing line, fish identification and casting. The DNR even brought their fish aquarium. Pictures from the event will be posted soon.

Greg Karch from Learn 2 Fish With Us kicked of the Sand Pit Youth Fisheree with his ‘Fishing Basics’ seminar which was held on June 7th at Scott Park in Omro, Wisconsin.  The youth and parents learned everything from Safety, casting, equipment, fish identification bait and the Clean, Drian, Dry message.  After the seminar the kids went fishing where Greg asked them questions from his seminar and if they were correct they won a prize from many of Greg’s sponsors.  Lunch was then served, what a great day of fun and fishing.  The Sand Pit Fishing Club provided the food and fishing combo for each youth.  What a amazing club!!
